Strange Bedfellows
Been a little short of Bono-related news recently, but
here is a tasty morsel for my loyal reader. I know how much he admires everything the great man does.
The life and times of Mister F (OSM). He fought the punk wars, don't you know? Homo proponit, sed Deus disponit.

Over the hill
Fancied a pint last night with Roper. Ahh, we thought, let's go somewhere we haven't been for a little while. How about Holland's?
A Grade II Listed Building because of 'Original interior with boarded ceiling, pine panelling and settles. Engraved and painted glasswork. Elaborate fireplaces and overmantles. Listed for Interior'. Treasure house of Victoriania, breweriania and old photos and press cuttings. In the hands of the Holland family since the 19th century.
Shut down. Bah!

F-Life! becomes Atom-enabled.
F-Life! is now Atom-enabled, for the greater enjoyment of my devoted reader.
In other words, you can use a newsreader to catch up on F-Life! and all your other favourite weblogs. My personal favourite newsreader is Bloglines, but there are plenty of others to choose from.

Sometimes you think you know something, then you investigate and find out that you don't really know. I thought I knew why the days of the week were named. Turns out I only knew half the story. Useful site on all things to do with calendars.
