Lynchian

Just got a thank you note from Thomas Truax for attending his performance at Pestival, which took place in the foyer of the QEH shortly before the Robyn Hitchcock event
"Diaphanously Yours".

Thomas just happens to mention his latest album, as reviewed here:

"Thomas Truax has recorded a covers album made up of songs featured in David Lynch's films and, somewhat paradoxically, made them somehow more Lynchian(8/10)" -Drowned In Sound

All of which is an excuse for me to show you this rather strange clip, which is also very Lynchian:

Gaysong

Ukulele based concoction "... written in honour of ALL our gay friends ...." by Rocky & Balls.

Byrne Bono Beef

David Byrne has a go at Bono. He's not really sure why. Typical.

Wonder what his old mate Eno will say to him next time they get together?

Cover Version

Remember when you were young?

Transmission

Joy Division's Transmission kept popping up on shuffle on my mp3 player over the last few days. Then I found this:

I feel like someone is trying to tell me something.

Jožin z bažin

Found this on a Polish website under the title "PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS". Make of that what you will.

Sky Saxon

Sad to hear about the death of Sky Saxon. I have fond memories of a fine gig at The Borderline.
