Very late update. One of the most unusual, but also most enjoyable, gigs of last year was the (Upside) Down Home night of the Beyond Nashville season at the Barbican on 3rd November. Howe Gelb (Giant Sand) and friends, including Evan Dando, Kurt Wagner, Vic Chesnutt and surprise appearance by P. J. Harvey.
