Spent a very pleasant afternoon last week wandering round some of the less touristy areas of Greenwich. My wanderings caused me to stumble across the Union pub, associated with the Meantime micro brewery. I won't tell you exactly where it is, but if you can find the Richard The First Young's pub, you'll see it next door. The guy behind the bar was very enthusiastic about his range of lagers and, being early in afternoon before too many customers arrived, took the time to let me sample each of them - except sadly the Chocolate (being "off"). I was very impressed and finally settled on the White, which has a very flowery taste and was just right dealing with my thirst on a very hot day.
Other information on Meantime bewing here and here.
